Our theme for the 2009-2010 school year is, “MIEM is your connection through tough times.” Recently, one of our members wrote, “thank you for all you do to make sense of things in a non-sensible era.” It is true that the environment we work in is always changing. We are facing difficult times in our state and the many challenges you face as members of a school community are significant. MIEM is here to help you face those challenges by providing programming that is meaningful, which in turn will allow you to provide the tools that students need to achieve and learn.

We have published our 2009-2010 MIEM Calendar of Events, which lists classes and workshops that offer you the opportunity to learn and grow. There may be changes to this calendar, including additional programming, which will be posted on our web site. As always, we will continue to communicate to you through our web site, the monthly MIEM Connection, and our timely e-blast messages.

The MIEM Team has a reputation of getting the job done and doing it right! We will continue to do that and look forward to seeing you at our events. Please provide feedback and/or ideas on how we can do an even better job of helping you. Please feel free to contact me and let me know what you’re thinking.
