The National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC) Lansing Chapter along with the Michigan Construction Career Council have once again organized the NAWIC Education Foundation Block Kids! event.

The Block-Kids Building Program is a national building program competition that introduces children to the construction industry. The competition involves the construction of various structures with interlocking blocks and three of the following additional items: A small rock, string, foil, and posterboard. Children will have forty five minutes to build something construction related, they will then be judged based on concept and presentation.
 
This event if FREE to all interested 1st - 6th grade girls and boys.
